Cute baby...Ugly Baby

In my impatience, I decided that I wanted to know what our baby will look like. I downloaded an App that would generate our baby's features based on pictures of  Dan and I. The results? Interesting... See for yourself.

This is for Ben, Billy and Jon :)         Lost boys Bambino? 

I have no idea why our baby would have blonde hair... OR a red Hawaiian rain hat?

Perhaps this is Dan's Italian side coming through? Get the kid a gold chain and some pasta and we are all set!

 I guess we will just have to wait. Hopefully Bambino will be a little cuter than the previews!

"Hummingbird Heartbeat"

Dan and I went to the doctor Tuesday to see if they could find Bambino's heartbeat. At first they had trouble locating it but eventually, it surfaced. The heartbeat rang in strong at 165 BPM! At one point, you could hear my heart beat (very slow and steady) and Bambino's heartbeat together. It was probably the coolest experience of my life. Of course I cried and Dan giggled; our usual responses to big events in our lives.


Hearing the heartbeat reassured me that baby is healthy and strong. We have to wait another two months to find out the sex of the baby. I don't think that two months has ever taken so long! In the meantime, I will play my little baby's heartbeat and know that he/she is safe and sound in there.  I can't wait to meet my little Bambino!
